LIFES Academy Teacher
Solutions That Empower People, Inc. (STEP), is currently seeking a qualified Middle School/High School Teacher with an endorsement in Special Education K-12. This position is responsible for planning and implementing academic and instructional activities for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. The successful candidate will work as a team to ensure the student is receiving the appropriate education and assistance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution;
Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure;
Ability to use a variety of instructional and behavioral management strategies appropriate to the needs of the students enrolled.
Starting salary: $42,757.00 per year. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, disability insurance, PTO, and 401K.
