This role supports meal preparation and delivery for Head Start, Early Head Start, and Senior Meals programs while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and maintaining accurate program records.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, experience in food preparation and nutrition, and a valid Virginia driver’s license with a good driving record. Experience working with seniors or social service programs is preferred.

This position pays $13.00–$14.00 per hour.

Finance Assistant

Education Manager – Franklin Co.

Head Start Health Services Manager

Solutions That Empower People, Inc. (STEP) has an opening for a full-time, 12-month Health Services Manager in Franklin County, VA. This position is responsible for overseeing the health component of the Head Start program.   This role involves tracking medical, dental, and developmental requirements for children enrolled in Head Start and Early Head Start, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and maintaining relationships with health service providers.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Management, Nursing, Public Health, or a health-related field. Minimum of two (2) years managing in the health field particularly with pediatric age children. Applicants must pass a background check, and complete required health and safety certifications within three months of employment.

Salary range for this position is $48,125.00–$63,209.81 per year. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, disability insurance, 401k, and PTO.
