At STEP Inc., we know that pets are more than just animals. They’re family. For many of our senior clients, their pets provide essential companionship, comfort, and joy. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that STEP has received a grant to provide pet food for our Senior Services clients.
This funding allows us to help seniors who may be struggling with the rising cost of living continue to care for their beloved pets without added financial stress. By easing the burden of pet care, we’re supporting not only the health and happiness of the animals but also the well-being of the seniors who rely on them for daily companionship.
One of our Senior Café clients, Billy Cockham, was especially thankful to be part of this program. His gratitude reminds us how impactful even a small gesture can be. It ensures that no one has to choose between feeding themselves or their furry friend.
