STEP, Inc. is proud to introduce the Work Appropriate Clothing Closet (WACC) — a new initiative designed to help community members feel confident and ready as they enter or return to the workforce. Whether someone is actively job hunting or preparing for their first day on the job, the WACC provides free, work-ready clothing to set them up for success.
From business professional and business casual to sector-specific items like scrubs, the WACC offers a variety of clothing styles tailored to today’s workplace needs. The goal is simple: to make sure everyone walks into their next opportunity feeling comfortable, confident, and prepared.
The WACC was launched this spring in response to a growing need in our community for access to professional attire — a need we are proud to help meet.

The closet is open twice a month at the following locations and times:

Rocky Mount – 4th Tuesday of each month | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Stuart – 4th Thursday of each month | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
